· We are expecting 108 cruise ships to visit Halifax.  · Cunard Lines’ Queen Mary 2, and Queen Elizabeth 2 are both scheduled to visit Halifax in the Fall. The Queen Mary 2 is currently the largest ship in the world.  · The cruise season will begin on May 16 ending in late October.  · 2005 was a milestone for Halifax as it marks the city's silver anniversary with the cruise industry.
